33140 lifepo4 cell characteristics
1. Initial Capacity - 0.5C Capacity 15000mAh
After cell is fully charged according to the standard charging method , set aside for 10 minutes;Discharge 0.5C to 2.0V and repeat for 5 times is allowed. When the range of results of three consecutive experiments is less than 3% of the rated capacity, the test can be finished ahead of schedule and the average of the results of the last three tests can be taken.
2. Discharge performance at different temperatures - 25℃≥100%, 10℃>80%, 0℃≥70%, -10℃≥60%, -20℃≥35%
After cell is fully charged according to the standard charging method, placing it in a low-temperature box at 25 ℃ and keeping at a constant temperature for 16 hours. Then discharging with a current of 0.2CA until the termination voltage, the experiment is completed. Then taking out the cell and place it at 23 ± 2 ℃ for 6 hours, inspecting its appearance, and fully charge it according to the standard charging method. After that, complete discharge tests at different temperatures such as 10℃,0℃,-10℃and -20℃ in sequence
3. Cell Discharge Rate Capabilities - 0.5C/0.2C ≥100%, 1C/0.2C ≥98% , 2C/0.2C ≥95%, 3C/0.2C ≥93%
After cell is fully charged according to the standard charging method, leaving it to stand at the standard ambient temperature for 10 minutes, then discharging with a constant current of 0.2CA to 2.0V. recording capacity at this discharge rate. After discharging, let it sit for 30 minutes, then fully charge it according to the standard charging method, let it sit for 10 minutes, and then complete the discharge tests at different rates such as 0.5C, 1C, 2C, 3C in sequence according to the above testing method. The temperature of cell shall not exceed 80 ℃.
4. Capacity Retention and recovery - Remaining capacity ≥ Rated capacity x 90% Recovery capacity ≥ Rated capacity x 95%
After cell is fully charged according to the standard charging method, placing it at 23 ± 2 ℃ for 28 days, then discharging according to the standard discharge method. After the discharge is completed, leaving it for 10 minutes and recording the discharge capacity asremaining capacity; Then fully charge the cell with the standard charging method, let it sit for 10 minutes after charging is complete, then discharge it by the standard discharging method. Record the discharge capacity and record it as the recovery capacity.
5. 55°C storage performance 55°C - Remaining capacity ≥ Rated capacity x 90% Recovery capacity ≥ Rated capacity x 95%
After cell is fully charged according to the standard charging method, place it at 55 ± 2 ℃ for 7 days, then let it sit for 5 hours under standard testing conditions, and discharge it by the standard discharge method. After discharge is completed, let it sit for 10 minutes and record the discharge capacity as remaining capacity; Then fully charge the cell by the standard charging method, let it sit for 15 minutes after charging is complete, then discharge it by the standard discharging method. Record the discharge capacity and record it as recovery capacity.
6. Battery cell cycle Life - ≥ 80% of the initial capacity
At 23±2℃,A cell is charged at a constant current of 0.5C until the voltage is 3.65V,then charged at a constant voltage of 3.65V until its current is less than 0.05C,after that stored for 15 min ; then discharge at a constant current of 0.5C until the voltage is 2.0 V,after that ,stored 15 min prior to next charge-discharge cycle.The cell shall be continuously charge and discharge for 2000 times .The residual capacity shall be measured accordance with typical capacity.
